April 3, 2025 at 5:47 amA person promised to sell me a property, took an advance, and later claimed the property was sold to someone else. He assured me he would return the money but has been delaying for over a year with some random excuses about selling another property and will return once he gets money. The fraud happened in Lucknow, but Iโm based in Noida. I want to take legal action with minimal court visits. What are my best options? Any advice on the legal process and how to proceed efficiently?
Would appreciate any insights. Thanks!

April 3, 2025 at 6:11 amHi OP, sorry to hear that. Fraud of this kind is so common. So send him a legal notice, immediately, asking him to return the money. Bear in mind the statue of limitation.
