So I’m planning to build a website/app that ranks makeup and skincare brands based on user reviews. A few concerns I have:

1. Product Images: Can I use images from the brand’s website, or do I need to take my own photos?

2. User Reviews: If users leave negative reviews, can brands sue me for defamation or demand the content be taken down?

3. Liability Issues: Are there any other potential legal issues that could arise from hosting user-generated content, like review moderation or content being seen as misleading?
