March 7, 2025 at 7:23 amHello all, I want to file a case in Hyderabad regarding flaw in recruitment process of a government body that took examination in 2023. The crux of the matter is that they have given an Unreserved seat to a candidate who has qualified prelims of the examination as per reserved criteria. Can someone suggest a lawyer with whom I can discuss this case and then later file it in CAT or High Court? -

March 7, 2025 at 10:18 amA reserved category person can get a general seat if they qualify for it. Reservation is an additional opportunity given to them and does not exclude them from general merit list if they get sufficient marks.-

March 7, 2025 at 12:38 pmBut shouldn’t they qualify as UR for all the stages of examination and clear the cutoff as prescribed for UR in all the stages?
If the cutoff for UR is 87 in prelims, and the person has received 82, is he still eligible for unreserved seat?
