PI am aware that a single man cannot adopt a female child, but what does the law say in the following hypothetical situation –
An unmarried couple have sex and woman gets pregnant, both refuse to marry each other. but for whatever reasons woman doesn’t want to abort and she gives birth to a girl child, but doesn’t want to raise the child, man agrees to raise his daughter on his own.
What does the law say in this situation ? Will the man be forced to give up his daughter for adoption or will he be allowed to raise his her ?

Will the man be allowed to raise the girl child (his daughter) ? Would it be possible for you to state which acts would support this.

FBoth situation are different, you are comparing adoption to biological child case , apple and oranges.

PFrom where do u get this fact that single man can’t adopt a female? I think a single male can adopt any gender provided there is some age difference.

Sa simple google and government sites provide this info in bold. Its a well known fact. This is done to protect female child from potential abuse.
