Lein Marked in my ICICI Bank on 986.42 Rs

So i Got a message on 1 may 2026 that Lein has been marked on my balance of 986.42 rs. It also had written Police Notice

I got scared went to bank. They gave me a reference ID and a number of a police inspector from Banglore..

I live in punjab they said it is a Demat fraud of 49 lakhs 50k rs

And 986.42 were marked lein.. i am able to use my bank account otherwise..

Now my question is as i tried to contact the police officer but he is not answering to my calls after multiple attempts.

Should i be worried about the funds in my account? Should i transfer them ASAP TO a new bank? I have fds and and all on this bankk..

My stupid frnd had to return me some money took my bank details and when I received money this problem started..

Please tell i am scared about the funds its also my salary account..

He owed me money

And asked me for bank details to deposit money

The money came but the amount got marked as lein

He must have done something fishy like betting withdrawl or something that’s why he took your bank details I guess , but don’t panic you should consult a lawyer and write a representation to that police station also if you are willing to return this money you can also mention that .
