Loan apps and legal notice

A friend of mine has taken about 10k loan on loan apps, and couldn’t pay back on time. Now they’re threatening to take legal action and come to their home. They’re a student and can’t pay everything at once. And very afraid of loan app guys calling their friends and family.

99% of loan apps in playstore are illegal

They won’t visit your house but will call contacts in loan taker’s phone and tell contacts that loan taker has given their contact as guranteeer

Yes they can take legal action to start recovery but contacting friends and family and any kind of harassment is against rbi rules. But your friend should understand that loan is not some free money and they need to repay it back. They would have already thought before taking the loan that how are they going to repay it back right?

From where exactly have they taken loan if any Chinese loan app then they wont do much. But don’t take loan without intention of repaying.
