I am residing in Mumbai
I have at least 8-9 challans on my car amounting to 10k
I wanted to know what is the procedure of Lok adalat, like do I need a lawyer or can it be done on my own, will there be a need to bribe someone, how much time it’ll take and how do I register to be there or just show up
How do I navigate
And what are the chances the fines will reduce?
Any advice will be helpful

I would suggest getting in touch with a locally practicing counsel or a clerk to a counsel, as the practice varies greatly from state to state.
