April 12, 2026 at 10:50 pmKuwait Airways cancelled my flight (Delhi-Kuwait-Doha) on 6 March 2026. Airline-initiated cancellation. 2 Adults, 1 Child, 1 Infant.MakeMyTrip’s own app shows:
✅ PNR cancelled at airline — 8 March
✅ Refund received from airline — 25 March
✅ Your refund is being processed
Still ₹73,466 NOT credited after 35+ days.
When I pushed back, executive blamed Kuwait war as delay reason. But money is already WITH MMT since 25 March — war has nothing to do with their internal transfer.
Done so far: Multiple calls, escalation emails, tweeted tagging CEO — zero response.

Planning Consumer Forum next. Any advice?

April 13, 2026 at 2:40 amLawyer here. This constitutes clear deficiency in service and unjust enrichment on the part of the travel intermediary. Once the amount has been credited to them, any internal delay in processing cannot be used to deny or indefinitely postpone payment to the consumer. You may issue a legal notice demanding immediate refund along with reasonable interest and compensation for harassment. In the absence of compliance, initiate proceedings before the appropriate Consumer Commission seeking refund, interest, and damages.-

April 13, 2026 at 2:44 amThank you! MMT Care has responded on X saying they’re treating it as priority. Waiting for resolution. Will proceed with legal notice if not resolved with full amount.-

April 13, 2026 at 2:51 amI would suggest not relying on replies on Twitter, as most of the replies are automated and pre-meditated. Since 35 days is a significant amount of time, I would advise you to take the next step.-
