UI have a prescription yet I was denied this.
I have been taking medicines since 2011 and this is an SOS drug for me?I verified from other medical store and he was kind enough to give me just 1 tab which is half of what I needed.
Can I take any action against such medical stores?
It is the biggest medical store in my area.

SYeah. But does it mention anything like sos. And if its sos why you didn’t stock it. I have cetirizine in every nook and corner of the house due to allergies.
Anxiety medication no one will give without a recent prescription. -

UI have a valid prescription from my doctor.
I have been on same prescription since 2011-12. Only the name of the medicine changes not the salt. And it is the same medical stores I have been buying since last 6 years.
I cannot go to delhi every time to buy this now
I live in NCR area and he said that go buy where they prescribed it.
My prescription is of Jan 2024 and valid for 3 months

Ssee , if you have valid prescription and its is updated by doctor with sign and stamp that you should continue with the medicine then there is no problem , they should give you tablets. my question is did you have latest date entry on your prescription by doctor ? be calm and think twice. because many people abuse this and people like you who may actually needed get trouble.

DDid the Dr mention duration? Given its Clonazepam, it should be x3 Months or more? It’s usually heavily misused. Try sending an elder. I used to roam around trying to get this for my relative. It felt both exhausting and unnecessarily humiliating as if I was trying to do something wrong. That too during Covid days.

My 2 cents:
I guess the prescription looks fake to the medical shops, maybe the doctor just wrote a single medicine and nothing else. Usually, the doctor mentions the name & age, symptoms, diagnosis and a few medicines along with some lifestyle changes.If the prescription only contains a single name of medicine then it looks fake or forged to an experienced eye.
And Clonezapam is NOT A SOS medicine, it’s an SSRI medicine which needs to be taken daily under a psychiatrist’s care.
If you are taking anti depression medicines since 2011 then the ship has sailed for your mental health!
Only a good doctor will tell you this: Anti depression medicines are equivalent to crutches for walking. Just like you use a crutch to assist your legs to make them stronger and gradually STOP depending on it, similarly, while taking anti depression medicines, you take active steps to improve your mental health and gradually move away from all such medicines.
But since you are taking it for more then a decade, you have not made changes to your life to be able to stop depending on these medicines and now you can’t function without them which will be detrimental for your own mental health in the coming future.

EHehe, can literally feel the frustration by your typing. Change your doctor and goto a psychologist too, sirf goli pelne mental health theek nahi hoti!
Regarding your solution, just call or video call that doctor in front of the medical shop guy to convince them. Can’t think of any other way around it.

I am not going to change my doctor. He is the best in India I would Archie and I have been to delhi Chandigarh Mumbai and Bangalore
I know mental health requires medicines and therapy too and I am on it.

You can get it at apollo pharmacy, since it’s an Apollo doctor who prescribed it.
Else, follow the suggestions the others gave you, take an older person along. This is heavily misused, hence all pharmacists follow caution.Just fair warning, neither a lawyer nor a doctor, this is a really dangerous drug and is very addictive, weaning off it is harder than alcohol considering the side effects. Please take care OP. Wishing you all the very best.

So clanozepam is an SOS for me.
But since last 4 months I am taking it every other day.
I have got the medicine for a week now.
But my questions is not getting the medicine.
My question is can I something legally against such arrogant vendors?I am on anxiety medicines – SSRis etc
There is no Apollo pharmacy in my area. I will hav to go to delhi for this which is 120 kms. From where I live.

UBhai no option to add to cart and it says not available for online sale. I got it for now. Will ask my doctor to update another precriotjom next week.
