Iβm facing a really frustrating issue and would appreciate some advice.I have multiple Daikin VRV units installed at my residence. The dealer apparently missed providing one wireless remote controller during installation, which I realized only much later. Since then, I’ve been trying to arrange a replacement remote through Daikin customer care.
Despite multiple calls to their customer support and contacting local service centres, nothing has been done. Iβve even offered to fully pay for the new remote, but still no proper response or help. I honestly donβt understand how Iβm supposed to use an AC without a remote.
Iβm really disappointed with Daikinβs service β you expect better when you invest so much into a VRV system.
What should I do now? Any tips on how to escalate this further or deal with such situations?

April 28, 2025 at 3:36 pmLawyer here.Send a legal notice to them through your advocate. If they fail to comply even after that, approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. You can also approach the CDRC without giving them a legal notice.

Cost of remote = 1k (max)
Cost of legal notice = 10k.Did you search remote in amazon / flipkart / google shopping ? If this is not available, still you can find a compatible remote.
