I’m a woman. That is mentally and physically disabled , I lived with my boyfriend for 7 years the utilities were under my name, he physically abused me and I called 911 he told the sheriff which by the way his bestfriend , they didn’t believe me , the police came i told them I had rights, they didn’t care , I became homeless , I was allowed to go back with police to get my stuff if had another friend talked bad about me while I grabbed my stuff , the police wont let me take anything out of the house unless approved by my x I was treated poorly , police told me I could go back just one more time to get my dresser. Idk what to do instill ha e stuff there.

NAL, So sorry to point this out but this is the Legal Advice India subreddit.

You should try posting it in Legal Advice US probably ( because India doesn’t use 911 ( we use 100) and India doesn’t have Sheriffs, just Inspectors )

Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) is a Pan-India single number (112)

Since the original poster also posted in the Minnesota subreddit, I’m assuming they’re based in the U.S. It might be more helpful to share this in a U.S.-based legal advice forum to get more accurate and relevant responses.
