Mother’s sister commenting murder accusations on me and my wife on a post we posted from Mom’s FB account regarding her business

  My mother passed away a month ago, she took her own life and wrote in her note that no one is responsible for her death. Police have the note in their possession.
  We posted a Holi sale message for my Moms boutique from her FB account to liquidate her stocks and my mom’s sister posted a very offensive comment stating that after “killing her we are now trying to usurp the business and run our home from it”. (She did not make even 5000 from the business and did it purely as a hobby. I make over 2L pm working a corporate job)
  Want to know if we can take any legal steps against her, I am ready to spend a fortune to see her getting punished. Please Dm me if you can, can pay for sound legal advice on the matter.

    I don’t think his aunt is interested in money if business wasn’t making money before. Looks like she got offended or there’s more to the story than what op is telling

      Yeah, just guessing but probably because he left her alone to focus on career (or didn’t care). Looks like the aunt misses her sister and lashing out but why would you want to put all your ‘2L’ corporate job might against someone that loved your mother?

  Don’t pay anyone from reddit who approch you most of them are not reliable go to a real lawer & put a defamation case against her or ask him what can be done

  Send a legal notice for defamation and suit for defamation.

  It’s a case of defamation by libel.
  
  But guess she is just hurt and healing.
  
  A legal case might not be the best way forward.
  
  Be kind. For your mother’s sake.
  
  Win her with love if possible. Reply on her comment saying what you intend to do with the proceeds.
