MSo he liked this girl since few years and wanted to date her. Few days ago they were talking and idk how he started sexting She was acting nonchalent and when my friend asked her if she wants to see his **** she said yes. He sent her few of his nudes [face included] and she just replied with an eww he was embarrassed so he unsent those pics. Now after a day or two those pics of his were getting circulated everywhere on insta on our school pages. Turns out the girl sent those pics of his in her girlfriends group and one of them maybe sent to another and so on.
He has his neet examination in a few days and is really depressed meanwhile the girl is busy preparing for advanced and nobody is able to contact her. He is really in a bad mental state right now and suicidal, can we take any legal action against her through cybercrime? One of the main problem is her father is a high ranking bureaucrat of our state

SYes you can take legal action. I feel so bad for him and I can’t even imagine how much he is going through right now. I hope he seeks therapy and takes legal action against the girl.

Him sending nudes to a bureaucrats daughter can get him in the negative light when trying to expose her.
Just take it as a lesson and move on. It will die down. If it’s on the net you can pay someone to remove it.
Once all this goes away. You can tell that girl what had happened and how it affected him. She’ll understand, her dad won’t.

MBro, the deepfakes are a tad bit too convincing these days, just the other day on reddit someone posted a video of Jesus and pope Francis havin fun it looks so real.
Just go with deepfakes argument, and since u say your friend did unsend it. Just say someone obsessed with your friend has created them and move on.

PNAL. Don’t get into anything legal. It’s an adult boy sending nudes to a minor girl. His crime is much bigger. I doubt the court would take a guy’s nudes being circulated as seriously as they would take a girl’s especially when the girl is a minor.
Just ask your friend to forget about it. I know it’s difficult, especially at that age. But, it’s just body anatomy. 10 years later nobody would care or even remember. People will now know that he has a dick, well, trust me they already knew. It’s just anatomy. Not worth getting the situation more messed up by going to the court.

Your friend is an idiot for sending this to a minor. He can most likely get arrested for it.
Better to just wait till this blows over, no one is gonna carry about this in a months time. And he should definitely apologise to the girl even tho she did leak it. If she takes legal action your friend is fucked.

UWow. So the girl can press charges even after she’s 60 if the guy makes her mad. Considering their ages are close, some kind of reforms should be made to alleviate grey zones.
POSCO was made so a 30 or 40 yr old person doesn’t take advantage of 15 or 16 yr girl. Generally speaking. For someone who is 18, and trying to talk with a 17 yr old classmate should not be POSCO- although the law makes it that way. Just an opinion. In this case, guy can and should be tried for sexual harassment, not POSCO.

RHe should focus on exams & avoid any classes by attending only exams. He should worry only about legal consequences not social validity. If she can prove mentioning her age before sending those pics then he’s safe.
If she blackmails He can claim she flashed to him in college or someplace. He was only responding to it.
