THe was texting a girl from a different college and the seniors of that college pulled up with 6 suvs and asked him to come outside.
After coming out he got beaten up. I secretly informed the security and he did not do anything.
Assuming everything was recorded on college ATM. Should he do something or can he do something. -

BFile an FIR alleging Assault and Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt. If the cops don’t register it approach the bar council.
Most importantly name the persons specifically in the FIR along with the description of the Act and collect and hand over the CCTV Footage to the Cops. You being a friend should give your statement as a witness.

SProblem is the girl. How did those seniors know that he was messaging that girl unless she ratted on him? Or was your friend harassing that girl? In either case there is no use stretching it unless you got people on your back to take care of this matter outside of the law cuz these people won’t stop with FIR etc. Hope you understand that fact.

HThird perspective may be girl casually unintentionally mentioned to her friend and she may have ratted out or someone may have overheard.. or the guy may have bragged or told someone unintentionally… you can’t judge the girl alone… or the guy alone.. there can be multiple angles.. irrespective of that the assault is very much wrong…

SBottomline is, cat is out of the box now. These goons won’t stop with an FIR or a court case. If the guy in question wants to proceed he either needs to have a political or muscle backing him. That’s the new India for you all.
