UMy friend (29f) went on a date with a guy she met on bumble in Bangalore. She planned on meeting in a restaurant but she was kind of sick so he insisted that they grab dinner at his place. He was sweet a first, and they had dinner, then he started asking weird questions like her health and medical issues, if she could get married by month end without informing family, when she wanted to conceive, can she immediately try to conceive after marriage and she dodged all of these questions. She started looking on his phone and thinking of ways to excuse herself. Then he pinned her on the bed, stripped her and said that ‘you’re my wife now’. He forced himself on her and she tried to resist as much as she could. She cupped her private parts with her palms and soon he came on her belly. Then he asked her to go wash herself and she immediately rushed out in a shock.
She’s gonna lodge a complaint soon but what can she expect during the entire process. We’re clueless.

Reading what happened and then deciding it’s time for you to pass commentary about the assaulted person’s action is a poor choice. Do you think the victim doesn’t know that it was a mistake to trust this person and be in that position after what he did to her?

Uhappen to one of my friend she went on date with guy , who said he is great cook to her wonder it was just whole home with no furniture she sat and talked with that guy in panic and he sexually assaulted her and she say she was dumb and not careful and she said she cheated his bf did this thing and i said nothing bcs what else i can say.

AGosh, I’m so sorry to hear all this. Ignore all victim shaming messages… your friend needs support rn. It’s good that she has you by her side. What happened is horrific, n she deserves justice. She should immediately get a medical examination and consult a good advocate to file a strong, detailed complaint. The perpetrator must be held accountable. Make sure she has emotional support through this process

UJust an advice, don’t waste time in lodging the complaint while seeking for advice on online forums. This is a great subreddit, but seeking information online can happen in parallel. The more you delay lodging the complaint the more questions you would be asked by the police. Get a lawyer if you have pressing questions that you need answered.
