May 7, 2025 at 3:03 pmMy friends bhabi is an egotistical sadist person. She tortures their entire family mentally including her kids and husband .Yesterday, she was beating her kids black & blue while my friend intervened to ask her to calm down & she slapped my friend
Mind the lady is 30yrs old and my friend is 32yrs old
Indian law helps women so much so the sister in law is in upper hand with DIVORCE with DOWRY.
Is there any legal action my friends family can take against her??

May 7, 2025 at 3:45 pmI mean the moment you bring up issue about a woman in police station you will be judged and be told to leave it alone or women is always the victim and other nonsense. And this follows in courts also. You have to be very determined with good communications skills, connections, and excellent lawyer skills to make any small impact. And you will be standing alone in this war everyone will leave you even your parents.Law is not that bad but our attitudes are worse
Women is a minor for law. You read laws related to minor. They all apply to women in india

May 7, 2025 at 3:34 pmIf she is so direct with beating everyone. Just record these incidents. Tell husband to get get divorce because this is cruelty and cruelty is a ground for divorce. Also mother in law can file a domestic violence case against daughter in law.

May 7, 2025 at 3:53 pmI’m not sure but i don’t think courts will give her the custody if you show the judge how she beats her kids.

May 7, 2025 at 3:36 pmHi. Iโm a Delhi based lawyer. Legal action can be taken by her as well as the family, in the form of DV proceedings, cruelty complaint etc. but it has to be a collective call, for it to really mean anything.-

May 7, 2025 at 4:37 pmNo, I didnโt say that. I meant in essence theyโve to be one, for it to appear as a grave issue.-
