CI am studying in European country. We are married in end of October 2022. We had fight in 2023 March( No physical abuse) . She went home and filed fake 498 A and dv on all my parents and sister.
She and her mother tried to break my sister engagement. But failed. My sister married now.
There was a first summon recently. While my parents returning from court. My wife’s brother and two unknown beat my parents.
My parents went to government hospital and recorded the wounds. Police just filed, 351 and 118. Inspite of proof and everything, police refusing to file further any case. Now wife family are threatening to move further and beat my parents and rape my sister. Police are not helping. Polic Just saying to compromise. I am still in European country. They are fully trying to bring me back to India. My parents are beaten and now I am feeling helpless. Any suggestions would be helpful. -

Ensure you keep flowing money in the system to ensure it runs.
Cops usually don’t get a lot of money from women. They have expectations from men, so make sure you pay them. They will do anything for you if you pay. Some things are easy, that’s why.

ask your parents, sister, relatives to move as away as possible, and leaving as little trace as possible.
then get a lawyer to sweat it out in the court.
know that the marriage, relations, love etc you know as a man before- are all gone now. Do not be emotional about that being gone.
Build up your life, fortify your defenses, your ex wife is a leech, better stay away. Get a divorce, and while doing so minimize the damage they can do, and threaten with your family in India.

MFirst of all send your parents to a safe place like your grandparents or trustworthy relative place,their safety is the main concern. Hire a good lawyer, If they are giving rape threats try to record it somehow. If i were in your place i will hire goons from another state or city and gonna make her brother payback.

MGo to district/regional police office and submit an aplication with complaint against the officer who refused to lodge your nc. It might require some effort. You may have to wait for senior officers as they are not always around. Eventually your local police station has to obey his boss. Its better if your parents are old and do not work. Put them to work. Do not go to mra or any nonsense organisation. Learn the way how law and justice works.

Immediately engage a competent criminal lawyer in the place where the incident occurred. He’ll press for the requisite charges.
The recorded injuries from the government hospital serve as documentary medical evidence, so keep it intact, they are annexed with a 154 CrPC complaint to the police station. If the police are refusing to register the FIR despite evidence, a written complaint is directly made to the Superintendent of Police ( 154(3) CrPC). If that also fails, an application is filed before the Magistrate for court monitored investigation and registration of the FIR. Tak to your lawyer about it.
If you apprehend arrest or custodial harassment in future, initiate anticipatory bail proceedings through your counsel in India (they’ll probably advise the same) either by yourself or along with your family members already arrayed as accused in the pending proceedings.
As of now, please document all acts of police inaction or partiality, as much as possible, engage a good lawyer ASAP.

LContact SIFF. These problems require activism for solutions. You can’t solve them with proper procedure since Police doesn’t follow it.
