URecently i attended Arijit’s concert in Ahmedabad and it was extremely crowded. Guess what, crowds=pickpockets, I should have been smart but i wasn’t. Now i can track my phone in Delhi, Can see it’s exact location sometimes, sometimes approx location. Have registered an FIR, sending info to police but they won’t do anything about it.
The phone is expensive but like any person now-a-days, data in my phone is more important!
Any leads will be helpful.

LPolice are useless, take matters on your own hand and find it. You can also take a constable with you when finding it.

UI also had similar experience, took a constable with me but he was saying we can’t ask everyone if you have found the phone, i mean that is also true, so I let it go, after few hours when i saw movement, I followed it and got the phone luckily it was an old man who found the phone and and I got my phone.

UGot a few friends but we have a approx location now. If cops were active would have got my phone by now because we had exact location

UGo to find my iPhone , use phone lost and input your mobile number . They guy can only call u then and no one else and the phone gets locked, not deleted

UYou need a police complaint No. to do that, cops in Ahmedabad are saying due to festivals we will do this only after 16th. Imagine the incompetence

IThat’s sad. Check if FIR can be done online. It’s possible in Bangalore. Thought they will call PS later but still good option.

BYou can contact a lawyer in Delhi. The area will probably come under the jurisdiction of the Pandav Nagar Police station. With the right lawyer, you can get your phone back quite easily.

USame shit happened to my dad as well. My father and my mom visited flower show at riverfront during last year. Someone stole his phone and when he went RF south police station there was a long queue. He registered the complaint and since he owned an iPhone, I was able to track his phone through mine by find my phone app.
It was tracked down at Narol. We went to police station to seek assistance and company so that we can have our device back. Instead of helping, they started to verbally abuse us by asking us if they were our servants or what. Next day, we wrote a letter to commissioner mentioning everything and few days later we received the call from RF south station that they will only accompany us till the street and we would have to go inside and take back our phone on our own.
We understood that police department here are just some spineless bastards who will happily sell themselves over some money.
However, our stolen phone was switched off for few months and later my iPhone popped up a notification stating that my father’s phone was switched on and when we checked the location it was in Bangladesh.
