My salary got credited twice

As the hed- my dec month salary got credited twice, I have not tild the hr or management, was planning of quitting anyway. Last working day is March 1st hope they don’t ask it before that. But will I be liable to pay my company anything back??
Please help me

They can ask for it even after you quit and it will spoil your reputation. Just send email to you manager and HR about this situation and they will reverse it.

Tell this to HR department asap and DO NOT USE THE MONEY!
They will eventually find out during audit, so no point keeping it a secret..
Report this ASAP to the HR.
The probably will ask you to return the money…

Tell the HR, they will ask their bank to put a lien. Then bank will ask your permission to revert it.

Since when did stealing become okay? You have received funds that don’t belong to you. Work with your organisation to return the same. Sooner or later they will find out and then come after you. Books of accounts and bank entries are reconciled at period intervals.

I cannot believe someone is contemplating whether stealing is okay or not. It sucks that our population has become so dishonest and operate from a scarcity mindset. This needs to change.

You could sit on it. Till the time they don’t ask for it.

Don’t spend the money. Park it in a liquid or arbitrage fund.

Whenever the company asks for it. Repay it within 48 hours.

Say you had redeemed some MF that month so thought it was the redemption money.

Enjoy the free interest.
