January 21, 2025 at 7:12 pmMy sister recently fell victim to a scam run by an Instagram page selling women’s clothing. Here’s what happened:She came across a product she liked on their Instagram account and contacted them via their WhatsApp number. They asked her to pay ₹900 for the product, which she did. Afterward, they claimed a ₹290 “custom charge” would apply due to a “new policy.” My sister, being the kind and trusting person she is, paid that too. Then they asked her to order another product worth ₹700 to “remove” the custom charge and ensure delivery of both items.
In total, she paid ₹1,800, but nothing was delivered. She kept following up with them, and after 15 days of no resolution, she finally told me about it today because she felt embarrassed.
The money isn’t a big issue for me, I will make some story and pay her back from my own pocket. but the stress and emotional toll it caused her is heartbreaking. My sister is a simple woman who believes in the goodness of people. This incident has shaken her trust in others, and I can’t let this go.
I want to make these scammers regret targeting innocent people like my sister. I don’t care about getting the money back. What I care about is holding them accountable and protecting others from falling into their trap.

WhatsApp number: 09779392991I’m seeking advice from this community on how we can teach them a lesson?
I want to stand up for my sister. Please share your suggestions. I am ready to put money for this. I just want them to understand they messed up with wrong sister.
