CIf you have gone through my previous posts you’d know thar I escaped from my abusive husband and now and going through divorce proceeding. I had changed my address just so he can’t find me and harass me. He’s been contacting my relatives,spreading defaming and untrue stories about me and harassing them and my collegues to find about my address.
I have already lodged a NCR in the police station when he threatened to kill me and was stalking me.
Today I got a call from “women’s police station” where a lady started asking my address as soon as I picked up. Thinking it to be a fake set up by my husband I hung up. Now an feeling paranoid. He is a complete psycho and has been spreading nonsense about me like “I am a biological man” or “I am a lesbian” when in reality he is a closeted gay.What do I do. Before too he had tried to send SIFF foundation against me and they were the one to advice him to stalk me.
Reaching broseph is hard as they barely reply.
Am lost. Am not getting a court date soon so I can address this. -

CI have all the proof but the thing is the court isn’t giving date for the session. I just want to get this over with. The more delay the court is doing,the more harassment am facing from him.

NI hope you have filled case under DV act. You can make a simple application asking the court to restrain your ex from coming near you or contacting anyone in your circle. Once an order is in place, any violation is criminal offence.
I will give you just one advise, divorce cases in india are like wrestling with pigs, dont get into it if you are afraid of mud. You have to develop thick skin and give back on everything they throw at you. This is not a battle for meek, its a long and difficult one. so be strong and fight it out.

CI actually filed it under annulment as I left him only within a month cause I found out he’s gay and abusive to me.
I didn’t ask for any maintenance or money and yet he is harassing me for outing him as a gay and fraud.-
NYou can still file for a protection order under DV act. interim protection orders are given almost immediately.

UFIR is separate from divorce proceedings. You do FIR and file complaint in women commission and visit them if possible. Connect with some ngo near your place which deals with such cases.
Also is mediation and all done?

CYes mediation is done. 3 sessions. He had the audacity to threaten me infront of the mediator. This guy is beyond anything

TI see you are not looking for complete legal advice. You just want this man to not trouble you anymore. I suggest reaching out to women’s police cell through some contacts instead of going directly. Try to find a person who would be willing to give him a warning from the police. I hope you are hired for a lawyer already for divorce so if that person isn’t helpful please reach out to some other lawyer. Take second opinion
