February 10, 2025 at 10:27 amIn August 2022, my father paid βΉ40 lakhs (retirement fund) to a real estate developer as an advance for a flat in a proposed upcoming apartment project. The developer assured us that construction would commence shortly and that the flat would be delivered within two years. However, to date, no construction has been initiated on the site, and the developer has become unresponsive, neither answering calls nor providing any updates. The developer has simply blocked the numbers of mine and my father and is no longer opening his office. Below are the details of the developer:1. Name of the Company β Kritika Infra Developers (https://krithikainfra.com/)
2. Project Name β Sheshadriβs Silver Oak, Malkajgiri Mandal, HyderabadMy father is deeply concerned about this situation and suspect that the developer may not have any intention of fulfilling his promise. We understand that pursuing legal action might be a lengthy and time-consuming process. Unfortunately, my father, being an elderly person with a heart condition, is becoming increasingly distressed and depressed due to this situation.
We want to recover the βΉ40 lakhs paid to the developer at the earliest.
We want to know if there are any ways or measures or options available that could help us exert some pressure on the developer and recover our money. We have sale agreement signed in August 2022 along with receipts. How can we proceed legally in such matters? We are from a normal middle class and can’t resort to hiring goons etc.
We have already filed a complaint in TG RERA. TG RERA has passed an order last month with same developer on a similar case like us, which prompted us to do the same. That guy also paid amount like us and got cheated.
