A guy needs to give me amount 2lac I have his cheque but that is cheque is old , now that bank has merged. Bank doesn’t exist now , since it has merged . What to do now ? can I send notice to his company where he works , will that help me getting him terminated he works in MNC company I know where he works. I do not know where he lives , not receiving my calls or messages. Even if he doesn’t pay me I’m not worried I want to make sure that he loses his job. Kindly help

Did you go to bank ask if that cheque will work? Cause I believe the account number will remain same.

Otherwise

Add a recent date to the cheque and go to the police station and register a complaint regarding fraud saying he gave a cheque of the bank that doesn’t even exist.

Hi lawyer from delhi here!

You can send him a legal notice of his company address and then file a suit for recovery stating the same address and this should help you recover the amount and this will also indirectly threaten him, so the possibility of this settling out of court is high.
