Need advise about assets held by my mum

She feels I ll spend irresponsibly and is not in touch so I don’t know what to do, I am a 36 y.o. man, a plot of land in my name and my jewellery is kept “safe” by mum and she refuses to give it to me though I am in very dire straits living hand to mouth. Please advise what to do?

She is away and occasionally texts but no contact recently other than that. I have tried explaining but she just ignores it.

this sounds more emotionally complicated than a normal property dispute because from her side it may feel like protection while from your side it feels like being blocked from assets that are already yours especially when you are struggling financially the part that usually matters most here is whose name the land and jewellery records are actually under because possession and ownership can become two different things very quickly have you ever directly asked her in writing to return the jewellery or give access to the land documents so there is at least some clear record of refusal from her side

I have just requested writing on WhatsApp many times.

I don’t know how to prove jewellery is mine.

Plot registery etc are all in my name.
