My uncle has filed for divorce and the first day of hearing of the case is 11th march. My question is can we change the lawyer before the given date or is only possible after the hearing? And if we want to take the case back, can we do so?

You can change the lawyer only when existing lawyer gives his No objection and signed off on the vakalatnama

And if we want to take the case back? The court has already given a date of first hearing.

You hv to tell the Advocate to withdraw the case ..do pay him what u agreed
