EHey everyone,
I need some advice regarding a car I bought and returned.
I purchased a car from Cars24 about two weeks ago. The car had battery and some other issues, so I returned it within their 7-day return policy and got a full refund. Since I had already initiated the RC transfer process, my name was supposed to appear on the RC after 7 days, but since I cancelled the purchase, it should no longer be applicable.
Now, I had also bought an insurance policy from PolicyBazaar at the time of purchase. When I contacted them for cancellation, they told me that I need to provide proof of at least a minimum third-party insurance to cancel it.
The problem is-I don’t own the car anymore. Cars24 has taken it back, and they will only insure it once they find a new buyer. So, how am I supposed to provide third-party insurance when the car isn’t mine anymore?
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? How do I get my refund from PolicyBazaar in this case? Any advice would be really helpful!

EAsk Cars24 for a document stating that the car is no longer in your name, this should help prove you don’t own it. Then, send this proof to PolicyBazaar and request cancellation. If they refuse, escalate the issue to the insurance provider directly.

EI already have shared cars 24 email proof to the insurer but they are constantly asking for other policy and they say a car must have a third party policy.
Probably will escalate this to policy bazaar -
