AHi all, Need advice for my sister.
She is currently in 12th giving her boards.There was an issue with date of birth on 10th board certificate where dob is mentioned 1 year earlier from date of birth in aadhar card.
.
My parents have reached to school and filed a request to change the dob to cbse.
Cbse need original birth certificate is missing, we only have copy of it. 😔 We have issued certificate from our town.My mom don’t want to change dob in aadhar because currently sukanya samridhi yojana is going on and our money will stuck.
I feel this is a big concern and create issues in future.

Bchoose DOB younger.
If birth year is 2013 on one document and 2014 on another document.
Change DOB 2014 everywhere. It will give her advantage.
You can get new birth certificate issued again from municipality.
Also SSY is not big issue. Talk to bank manager regarding change of DOB.

BSSY is no big deal. Ssy has lock in for 18 years.
investing in nifty 50 will earn you more money. Nifty 50 is mutual fund.
Alternatively if dad does not want mutual fund investment, ask dad to invest in Senior citizen savings scheme which has lock of just 5 years and it also provides same interest rate of 8.2% similar to SSY which also provides 8.2% rate with 18 year lock in. Senior citizen is for people above 60 so if dad is below 60, invest in grandparents name
