Uhi , this is my first time on reddit as my friend recommended me to write about this on reddit or craiglist. I was in a relationship with a guy for about 8 years we started dating when i was 12 and he was 20 , although now i think it wasnt really love at all but how he manipulated me into loving him , the story goes 8 years back when i was still in school and i used to go to tution after school to study and there was this guy who used to follow me around everytime , i didnt like him back but he used to scare me everyday and i felt really embarrassed to talk to anyone about it and i was forced into a relationship after that , everytime i used to say i don’t want to see you or meet you he would hit me , i used to leave school and go home and there he was waiting for me in his car , he lied about going to school or going to college and after 3 years i found out he didn’t really go to any college i was still 15 , even after multiple police complaints he used to just be there and wait outside my home for 5-6 hours daily. The police let him go everytime no matter how much we complained and there he was waiting again after sometime even my parents gave up , the worse part was he used to make me smoke weed forcefully and when i try to quit he would hit me again , one day his friend revealed to me that he only wants to get me hooked up on drugs so that i become a fuckup just like him and then we both will have no choice but to stay together for life . The final straw was when he hit my dad out in the street because he didn’t want me to go to college since there were other boys over there , i would have to sneak out just to leave for college and even then he would be there waiting for me near my college metro station. Recently he was driving and killed someone the court gave him bail and ever since then he couldn’t work a normal job he has been driving cab and boasting about how he wants to murder more people , the day he hit my dad we complained to the police again the police themselves told us to leave this city instead of catching him or stopping him cause he would bribe them everytime , so we moved and left out ancestral home behind and now its been 8 months since i moved here and somehow he got the new address from some mutual friend and now waits outside my apartments for 6-10 hours every 2-3 days since he has nothing to do he can wait there even for days .I am 20 now and i dont wanna be like that man or be with him cause i imagine my life to be better than what i have endured in the past 8 years . Im sorry for typos or grammar errors im doing this from a public computer cafe and a temp mail cause my friend suggested me that i might find people who can help . i will check back on the replies in the evening .
