April 19, 2025 at 12:26 amThis is regarding a registered property in Delhi that’s under my mother’s name — she is the 6th owner and purchased it in the 1990s. Due to negligence by close family members at the time, some of the paperwork from the chain of ownership is missing. We do have documents showing the property is registered under her name, along with the first buyer’s papers. My question:
Is it possible to get certified copies or duplicates of the missing sale deeds or ownership documents from the Sub-Registrar’s office, especially considering how old the paperwork is?If anyone has gone through a similar situation with old properties and incomplete paperwork, I’d really appreciate your guidance on the process or whom to approach. Thanks in advance.
