May 9, 2025 at 1:40 amMy sister got married to a scumbag last year very suddenly and none of my family members liked him.
Initially they seemed to be good but after 2-3 of their marriage conflict b/w them started and he previously beat her and once she tried to hang herself but fortunately she was saved by few microseconds by that MF, then my parents took her back to our house and consulted doctor and she became alright. Later my idiot sister moved back to him against our consent.
Let me tell you something, that scumbag even has extramarital affairs, we’ve tried to take my sister back to our house but she didn’t let us.
Yesterday she called me at night 1:35am but I slept with bedtime mode on so couldn’t reply her. She even texted me like ”you all please save me, I’ve somehow maintained to be alive and he has tortured me a lot ! And he has threatened to destroy my family.Etc.”
I belong to a lower middle class family with no resources to tackle something like this.

May 9, 2025 at 2:01 amThank you sir.
What should be the next step for this? Like that scumbag can even attempt something(sui*) to make this thing more complicated.
Our first priority is to make her safe and take her back to house, for this what to do?-

May 9, 2025 at 2:36 amHello there. I am a Delhi based lawyer, with an extensive experience in matrimonial matters. You must not allow her to take another breath in that house, before you contemplate any other legal steps. File a police complaint against him immediately, as there seems to be ample ground for registration of FIR here. Although parties need to live separately for a year before filing divorce, however, in grave circumstances, we can contemplate overcoming that.
