need suggestion on Trademark

Hey guys we have a been working on a brand for peanut based products we wanted to name it as Peanut Planet , but our legal guys are saying not to go for it , since similar names have been registered in the same class, and also peanut and planet are so common names it will not get approved , can anyone help us out share your feedback which will be helpful for us

You can name it but as they say getting approval will be difficult. So down the line, it’s quite possible you may have to rename your brand. And if there are similar sounding names in the same class, then it’s nearly impossible (atleast in the legal ways)

Your guys are right…the likelihood of confusion with another deceptively similar sounding trademark is high. You can still try for it if you are confident about it. It’s only difficult but not impossible.
