ISo I’m a Engg student . Like 6 months back i become friends with this guy let’s call him sonu for reference . So first we both were normal friends . Like hanging out with each other going clg together . But after sometime he started gambling on stake earned I don’t know like 50 , 60 lacs through gambling and which is illegal in india . So he started using that money in real life like purchasing new phone , using that money here and there drinking etc . So one day he said to make a plan for travelling for a concert in Bangalore . He insisted me to give him company . And as usual my answer was no I can’t i dont have that much money right now so i can’t . He insisted that I’ll oversee all expense . So i had practical exams etc so i again said no but after soo many request’s made by him . I said yes to him . So we made that trip . Returned enjoyed a lot . But here comes the twist . I don’t know how but he started to change all money he made on stake he lost . Around 60 to 55 lacs he lost alll . So he started blaming me that i have changed and soo he separated left that room we have rented . But after maybe like 4 months he started calling me asking for money that he used on trip we made . I said no that i don’t have this much money . But after sometime he sent me legal notice of recovery of 3 lacs idk how he made this 3 lacs . For more info he made withdrawal of money from stake to my bank account …. Idk he added that money to this 😭😭😭 … Plssss tell me what to do now plsssss

DHi. I am a Delhi based lawyer. What do you mean when you say that he made withdrawal of money from stake to your bank account?

IMam like the money was illegal na he can’t withdrawal all money in his account so he used mine to do so .
