March 8, 2025 at 2:29 amI got a message from a stock market course person and I assumed that it’s coming via a bot and I just woke up sent a message to stop and some name without much thinking. That guy called and threatened to file an FIR if I don’t reply sorry to that.
What are my options here, can replying be used against me.
Thanks in advance for help.

March 8, 2025 at 2:38 amYou abused the caller for no reason and want to know whether you should be sorry or legally strengthened. Is this the correct interpretation of your question?-

March 8, 2025 at 2:38 amI assume both. I am ok to apologise, but just wanted to be sure it shouldn’t be used against me somehow.-

March 8, 2025 at 2:43 amI assume you said stop it **(insert incestuous relationship) while replying. If people were to be prosecuted for this , a lot of us would be in jail. Calm down. Nothing is going to happen.-

March 8, 2025 at 2:44 amThat guy called me personally, don’t know how much serious he was.-

March 8, 2025 at 2:50 amEven if he’s serious. You didn’t abuse him in a public place, one curse does not equal criminal intimidation, he’s not a woman whose modesty is outraged, he’s not a colleague in your workplace, not your relative for it to be a domestic violence case.Calm down.

March 8, 2025 at 4:00 amAt worst, person might cite IPC 504 (intentional insult) or 506 (criminal intimidation), but FIRs for such minor things are rare. You can ignore and block, or just say, โSorry, didnโt mean anything by itโ to diffuse it and move on. -

March 8, 2025 at 5:33 amTell him to fuck off. Like somebody replied, half of India will be in jail for giving bad words in text, or verbal kalesh. Man up, first he spams you and then he threatens you. Tell him to fuck off. -
