HMy neighbour kids have been constantly damaging my car, at first I gently told the kids not to do that. After a few months of constantly doing this, I approached their parents asking them to please pay attention and reprimand their kids. But, instead of talking with their kids they told me that their kids can do whatever they want and if I have a problem with it then I shouldn’t have bought a car. Furthermore they have threatened to physically hurt/kill me if I scold their kids.
What should I do? The police isn’t even filing an FIR and is not doing anything about these guys.
PS : These guys aren’t powerful people. It’s just that they along with me live in a really backward part a city in Jharkhand, and the police just can’t be bothered to deal with them.
Please help me!!

QInstall a CCTV camera or dashcam.. create evidence .. file a letter stating everything in court of local judicial magistrate.. he will order FIR
these morons must be dealt hard
plus file FIR on parents for criminal intimidation.. these are the legal ways.. otherwise hire a driver like savlon bhoi

HI have the recording of their kids damaging my car but the police aren’t doing anything even with that. And the threats have been made near their house so it’s very difficult to record anything. I have tried giving just the audio recording but the police once again just told me that “Isse kuch nhi hoga, aap time barbad mat karo humara”.

WI had the same issue . I Spiked a chocolate with rat poison and place it near my car .
Neighbours were sad for the loss and fine now as they spawned another kid after an year and is well behaved .
It takes 2 or 3 attempts as some other kid used to eat but it’s collateral damage -

SGet a dog and chain it near your car bro and have a CCTV recording your car. If the neighbor hurts your dog, file a case with Animal activists or PETA and they act faster than the cops or our Indian Legal system.

V1. Get a security CCTV cam and put it in front of your house and gently tell those kids that if they ever plan to do something stupid, it’d lead to repercussions and that the video gets uploaded on the internet.
2. See if you can get your friend’s friend dress up like a cop (rent the police dress). Let him wait on his bike across the street and ask him to show up when kids come outside and let him do nothing but quietly leave. This would in-still fear in those kids.
