Non-Payment of Tuition Fees. What can I do

I’m a final year student and I give tuition to bear my personal expenses. I’m seeking advice regarding a payment issue I am facing with the parents of a student to whom I have been providing tuition services. Despite multiple reminders, the parents have been consistently delaying the payment for my services without providing any valid reason. Although the amount is not that big. It’s only 5k but it means a lot for me as I really sacrificed many things to earn this amount. Everytime I remind them, they told me to pay after some weeks and this cycle is going on from last 7-8 months. Please guide me how can I recover this amount from the parents.

They’re gone now and you can’t do much. Take advance payment from now on.

Why have you waited this long…If they haven’t paid for 1 month you should have stopped the tuition..They will never pay.Leave the tuition.

I was a beginner at that time. Also the last payment done by them was of 7.5k so I thought that they would pay this time also collectively.
