My father was a class one officer and he passed away some years ago. I wasn’t qualified for obc ncl at that time but there’s this criteria for death matters. So I am eligible now. But my mother was given a job on compassionate grounds and her salary is below the 8 lakhs criteria but if we mix in the rent we get it exceeds. So will I still be eligible for obc ncl?

Firstly, I’m so sorry for your father’s loss, I hope you’re doing better now..🤞🏻

I know a guy who’s from obc Creamy layer but he showed himself as non creamy because he had a business instead of a government job, and he literally showed himself as someone who belongs from a family who earns less than 2 lakhs while irl it’s a lot more than that..

I have another guy whose family earns more than 8 lpa easily, his mama is an officer of high rank, but still he got NCL as his father earns through coaching business

So the point is, if the rent amount isn’t monitored by a government way, where it can be easily traced that you’re earning the rent on your property, then in that case you can easily just not show that rent income and hence put the total income as less than 8 lpa , this way ig you’ll get the work done too and get the NCL tag
