January 22, 2025 at 3:36 amHi all, I’m looking to shift to another job role and I’ve received an offer letter from a company with a lot weird clauses.
1. One such NDA clause says that I’m not supposed to mention that I’m working at said company on any of my social media profiles including Linkedin.
Is this normal or even legal?
2. They’re holding around 12% of my CTC every month which will be credited to me as a lumpsum only on completion of 1 year at said company as a ‘bonus’.
How can a part of my compensation that’s held back be considered as bonus? Is this normal?
Can someone pls help me out? -
