ATLDR : My aunt is facing harassment for objecting to tree cutting in her backyard.
Details :
My aunt (widow) owns a BDA government flat in Bengaluru,Karnataka. It is a ground floor flat. She planted this tree 20 years ago. It is home to many birds and squirrels.Her evil neighbors want to forcibly cut the tree against her objection. These neighbors are behaving like goons with bullying her in rude language and tone. Also they have enlisted help of local civil work contractors visiting her backyard at odd hours and do their bidding of abusive behavior.
We need possible solutions within law to stop the tree felling. Local police station staff didn’t even listen to her problem and they were useless. Which authority needs to be approached? Is filing of FIR possible to stop tree felling?
