It can raise problems. You can do one of the two things.

Het your 12th and 10th marksheet fixed. It’s a long and cumbersome process, but better in the long term.

Or, you can create the same name affidavit. It will state that the name in marksheet and name in aadhaar is the same person, and person is currently known as the name in aadhaar, and you will submit this affidavit every time you will present your marksheet. This might also have some expenses associated with it’s depending on the difference in spelling. The notary might ask you to publish ads in the newspaper (dont ask if they don’t say anything).

Thank you . I’d try the first one and also the second one sounds easier and better but it’s always easier said than done . What if i update my name in my aadhar card since it’s just a mistake of a single letter? Will that make the situation worst?

You can change your name in aadhaar, but only once.
So changing name in aadhaar is simpler process. But you will be stuck with that spelling for life.

I would recommend to got for marksheet change first, amd them for aadhaar if cbse doesnt work out.

If you recently did your XII, it is easier the more recent it is. A simple application from school, and your affidavit would be enough.

Go to your district court campus or collectorate, and you will find lots of notaries that will do it for you.
You might also ask them about the CBSE thing, as they might have heard of similar cases.

I would advise it to fix it to whatever is on your birth certificate. Think about much longer life than government job application
