Paid money to coaching in advance. Now they ain’t giving it back

I was enrolled in a known coaching for 2 years and paid all the money through emi of 6 months (1.2 Lakhs total) but the coaching was trash and I want to back out now but the problem is one year has passed since I enrolled and their agreement said they won’t return any money now but according to the govt guidelines they need to give back money if it is paid in advance as far as I know. I just wanted to know is it worth it if I file a court case on them? And can I win it?

I practice in Lucknow and have seen the exact same type of case thrice. The State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, UP always orders in the favour of students.
