So I have applied for passport and I am awaiting police verification for the same.

I live in delhi with my parents in a rented apartment.

(Rent agreement is on my father’s name) I have the apartment’s address on my aadhaar card and bank passbook.

I have successfully completed the process at passport office.

Will the policeman ask for rent agreement or something during the verification?

Rent agreement in father’s name is fine. You are good with aadhar and bank passbook

Keep a copy of the rent agreement handy as it will be sufficient for verification. Please ensure that the address entered in the agreement matches with your Aadhaar card, passbook, and passport. Additionally, please be prepared as the office might request some facilitation fees (speed money).
