Passport renewal based on past acquitted criminal case.

I had a criminal case which was close about a year ago.
My passport has expired and I am trying to renew. Just wondering if this will cause any issues. Or this will give some leverage to police to ask for more bribes etc.

Some internet research mentions that this should not be an issue since it’s acquitted
I was also wondering if the status of the case would have been updated on the crime buero of records. If they check also it should the updated status
E court status says disposed.
Anything which I need to be aware of would help.
I am mostly worried about the cops asking for more bribes based on this.

just offer cop 500-1000 and he should be happy with it.
