Hi I joined a company and left within 7 days. No salary taken,no bank account created , no problem created.
I left due to medical reasons, however the HR is now demanding 50k notice period recovery.
Also I haven’t signed the appointment cum offer letter had only provided email acceptance.

“As per the appointment cum offer letter there is one condition that “as a token of your acceptance of this letter you are required to return the duplicate duly signed copy of the same within 72 hours from date of receipt failing which the offer stand void”

Should I just ignore the HR email or reply back .

Please guide as I haven’t even taken salary from them.

You can ignore the HR email if you haven’t signed any document. And since it is just 7?days you don’t need to disclose it in your employment history.

you did not sign the offer letter, it clearly says if you don’t submit a signed copy within 72 hours the offer stands void, so there’s nothing you need to worry about

just ignore them, max they could do it that they might blacklist you from working at their company again

                    Supreme Court advocate here:

You can safely ignore them. If they escalate this, you have remedies. No need to do anything till then.
