UIm a minor studying in 12th grade , no government official have help us all of them are corrupt all the want is money some of them asked for us for 5k and some 20k but no one got our work done. for what am i supposed to pay 20k? an aadhaar card which is apparently a ‘free’ scheme by government. its been more than a year since my parents have been trying to get my aadhaar card updated but then we found out that my aadhaar has been suspended but whenever we apply for a new one it gets rejected we were told by the aadhaar helpline to visit delhi and jaipur (for context i live in ajmer and they have charged us 100rs each for 8 receipts) which we did but they didnt help us either instead they just talked rudely with us, we have done everything that was told us to do by them but we still remain helpless ive personally mailed them several times but they dont respond to that either
now aadhaar card is really necessary as im unable to get any service without it like i dont have my PAN, no bank is opening my acc without it, no passport and moveover im unable to fill the form of JEE and NEET for which ive been preparing for last 2 years they have got other options like PAN and passport but i dont have access to them either due to lack of aadhaar card now NTA is asking students to make APAAR ID for which aadhaar is compulsory too. my 2 years of academic hardwork will go in vain if i dont get my aadhaar soon please help and make me aware about my rights.

FWhen your Aadhaar was made and why it got suspended?
AFIK… Since Adhaar is linked to your identity, that might be the reason for rejection for new Aadhaar.

Umy aadhaar card was made in 2014
well its like there’s an option to check aadhaar validity on uidai website so whenever i enter my aadhaar number there it says your aadhaar is suspended under article 29/28a” also when i try to login then too it gives error that my aadhaar is suspended so idk why its suspended.yeah that might be the reason but whenever my request gets rejected they say me to “reupdate or re-enroll” but they end up rejecting both of them idk what to do im just stressed nothing seems to be helpful

I am not 100 sure, but for rule 28 and 29 say either there is a pending case against you or suspicion of foreign nationals.
I wish I can be more helpful but, keep your old Aadhar number and enrollment number to proceed further. May be try visiting the main enrollment center of your state capital to know further processes.

yeah ive got my original old aadhaar safe with me cause its the only identity proof i got even tho its suspended

Uwell its not exactly that a government directly asked me for 20k but there’s this one emitra guy ik who claims he got contacts with officials and when i told my case so he opened his phone and showed me chat with one of his customers who had exactly the same error as me after which he added “ki iske toh 20-25 hazaar lagenege” but after that he said “kaam ho aadhaar card aane ke baad he paise dena” but before this we gave 6k to another guy who wasted our 2 months claiming similar and ended up saying “aapka kaam nhi hua aap paise le lena maine apni mehnat ke 1000rs kaat liye hei” so…thats the matter no one is taking solid guarantee that he can get me made a new aadhaar or get my old fixed.

MWhen does the registration for JEE and NEET ends? Are there any correspondence between you and the examination authorities regarding the issue?
Worst case scenario, you can move a writ petition in the high court to secure temporary registration for examination and directions to the government to complete the formalities within stipulated time.

Uidk why it was suspended neither ik why it cant be re enabled no one is answering us na he they are heloing us we applied for a new one but it got rejected too.
here is the full story – so its like we came to know about this aadhaar suspended scene in early dec 2023 when we tried to get it updated after that we visited diff aadhaar kendras of my city for help we ended up giving 6k to a guy who said he will get our work done after 2 months he said he was unable to get it done fir we contacted the helpline again they said us to visit delhi headoffice of aadhaar we went there after which they sent a mail to banglore which got rejected too fir we sent update and fresh re-enrollment (2nd time) req in dec only which are in process till now.

UYou will be able to see why it was suspended in the first place through Aaadhaar portal.
When you apply for re-enablement of aadhaar you’ll get a SRN (Service Request Number), When SRN is rejected it will have a reason why it is rejected, what is the reason mentioned in the SRN?
Without any of the two reason above, it will be hard for anybody to guide here.
“Don’t message it up, try to do the right thing.” – This i meant to say when you get a new aadhaar under same biometrics, the new one will be eventually cancelled again saying duplicate aadhaar.
I would go in this order
1. Login to Aadhaar portal to see why it is suspended and based on that
2. Apply for re-enablement through E-Seva
