I was watching porn and suddenly my computer was blocked and demanding penalty. From the Indian government. The site looks pretty legit and as I am a student I got scared and unplugged the computer. And now it’s gone once I restarted it.

It said something about clearing my data and sending police to my house if I didn’t pay fine.

It was like an audio saying this stuff. And I couldn’t leave the site. I am really scared. Help.

I read news articles saying it’s scam but none of them are recent. I won’t be arrested right?

It’s scam, they just create a fake website to get money from ppl who get scared lol, even if you see it later in life just wait for 10 mins and close browser or restart it will go away,
But do not click on any links on the site then u will be safe.

Broo it’s a scam whenever this type of site opens try to press F11 or ESC key if it goes out of full screen and comes back automatically it means it’s completely a scam even on the site only option to fill card details are working no other parts work on it stay away from these type of scam and you can simply use VPN to dodge these

It’s a scam. Its more like a video that’s programmed to popup in these situations. Just press escape or Alt+f4 and you’ll be fine.
