January 11, 2025 at 6:28 amLike an absolute idiot in a moment of desperation, I almost applied for a quick loan from an app called Lumen Loan.
They immediately accepted by application and without any confirmation sent me a โpayment getting disbursedโ message. I panicked and again like an absolute idiot checked their reviews AFTER I got this message. The reviews were talking about how they will randomly send you money and will start harassing you.
I immediately deleted the application but today I have received the funds today after 24 hours.
This is the account detail:
N/IOBAN25011320549/IOBA0001743/OK SELECTION
Now I tried to access the application again so I can see how much they are going to charge me now. But the application is not available on the apple app store anymore!!!
They have access to my contacts and camera roll. Although I deleted the application immediately yesterday, Iโm not sure if they still have access to it on their database.
I know for a fact that they sre going to harrass me and I wanna take the right precautions. Please help me please help meeeeee

January 11, 2025 at 6:56 amHi, yes you do need physical office address and email to send them legal notice or email informing you did not give final approval or otp to receive funds as you changed your mind after reading reviews therefore this is a forceful loan and not legal therefore you are proceeding with police and lawyers agianst them to return thier money back without any interest. You have to file complaint or initiate action before they do. So that no judge or police can force you to pay interest. Try to research about the company, get the info, if you receive any calls/messages record them. And once you have enough connect with a lawyer immediately. If its delhi ncr i will connect you with affordable ones.-

Take my reference and tell him you are my friend he wonโt charge you for the 1st consultation, get an idea on how to proceed with him but no lawyer or police can help you without office/email etc -

January 11, 2025 at 6:48 am1. Check CIBIL to see if a new loan account has become active.
2. Keep the funds as it is, there might be a minute possibility that you may get out of it with little extra and foreclosure.
3. It does not take that much time to copy contacts, but gallery as it is large, might be safe to some extent(Not 100% can be copied in the small amount of time).
5. Make your socials private, including your WhatsApp profile picture/name to “only contacts”.
6. If/when they do contact, do not give in to extortion at all.
7. keep a log of numbers, record initial(all) calls and file a cyber crimes complaint.-

January 11, 2025 at 6:56 amThese are scamsters masquerading themselves as payday loans (which themselves are borderline unlawful).Their whole modus operandi is to create debt obligations and, side by side, get access to devices and persons.
They have your details; they will contact you.
The only way to get out of it is to make it not worth their effort, to make it harder to blackmail you with material and avenues.
+
Police complaints (not much happens here).
