SSo i was working as a sales executive in an edtech startup, i resigned and served 30 days notice period as well but when i was about to leave, management requestd not to leave, they will increase my salry and multiple things but when i denied they threatened to cut my salary. And now they have deducted 5000 from my last months salary, i mailed them regarding the same and they denied to return the pending amount.
What should i do?? Pls help where to file the complain. -

AOk, you can go the legal route as a lot will suggest. But if you don’t wanna go through that, start defaming them on linkedin, google review, glassdoor etc websites. Any company would not want such review for them on any website. Mention everything you mentioned here on this post in your comments everywhere maybe they will give your dues. This is effective when the company is small as they will be more effected by negative reviews

– Failing which, send them a Legal Notice.
– Failing which, a Recovery Suit may be filed.

PNo lawyers , Don’t name and shame , just tag the CEO in linkedin and ask him to justify the paycut explaining your situation.

PExactly , lawyer will eat more than the money in concern , naming and shaming will potray your bad side too , but asking as a genuine concern should be fine , years it might or might not affect , it’s all about testing waters or walking away now leaving everything behind for the sake of your peaceful life

But i have worked with all honesty and i think i deserve that money, also they have deducted it without any reason. Its kind of bullying. -
