April 16, 2025 at 10:10 amHi everyone,
I’m facing a serious issue with my POCO X7 Pro received on 3-apr-25. Within a short time of use, a green line appeared on the screen alongside a tiny black dot, roughly the size of a grain of salt. I never dropped the phone or damaged it in any way. It was delivered via Open Box Delivery and looked fine at the time. When I visited the POCO service center, they refused warranty coverage, saying it’s external damage, even though the display glass is not cracked or scratched.
When I contacted Flipkart, they told me the product was delivered in perfect condition and directed me back to POCO.
I also verified the issue in the local market — one shop said it’s internal damage, the other said external. I’m stuck between Flipkart and POCO, and no one is taking responsibility.
The service center even refused to give me a DOA certificate or an old job sheet due to “policy.”
I’ve seen other users face similar green/pink line issues on AMOLED displays. I feel this should be covered under warranty as it wasn’t caused by me.
Has anyone else faced a similar problem? Any advice on how to escalate this further or force them to acknowledge it as internal damage?
Please help. -

April 16, 2025 at 10:32 amThey don’t give any documents. Doa and jobsheet.
Flipkart already said, give us the documents and we replace the phone but service center not giving me the documents.-

April 16, 2025 at 10:33 amTry visiting another service center and getting it.Upload the pic (showing green line and dot )of that here once.
If it’s delivered on 03 Apr,
The return window of flipkart might already be closed, right ?-

April 16, 2025 at 2:38 pmRight thing to do will be to send a legal notice to both of them through an advocate and shake things up…next step if they dont listen..go to consumer court and ask for double the cost as compensation-

April 16, 2025 at 2:42 pmI think this is last option if they don’t listen. It is not only me many users reported the issue on twitter to Flipkart and poco but none of them getting satisfied reply.

April 16, 2025 at 3:45 pmIf it is a systemic issue, then all the reason. I will go one step further, buy another phone, attach the bill for replacement and ask for original POCO to be repaired+ Compensation for giving a useless, problem ridden phone and add cost of the new phone + legal costs and compensation for mental trauma and agony . Hit them hard where it hurts and make them run to court !-

April 16, 2025 at 4:02 pmSystemic issue= same problem with other POCO phones of the same model/series.If you are frustrated with Flipkart and POCO doing ping pong, it makes sense to tell them you are serious about going legal. First step get your advocate to issue a legal notice and give them 10 days time to respond else go to consumer court and ask for replacement of the phone or full repair at no cost+legal costs+compensation for mental agony caused by purchasing a useless phone.
Additionally, buy a say, Samsung equivalent model and ask for this cost also to be reimbursed !
