IToday police came to my house at around 8 to 9 pm threatened me and my mother because my aunt feeds cats outside the society and the neighbours had complained about it My aunt was not home at that time I am a woman the female police officer even caught hold of me and tried pushing me around Sorry for any grammatical errors since english is not my first language. Please guide me on my future course of action

BJust fight against this oppression. There is enough case laws, and sections in Both constitution and also IPC/BNS (like section 351 of BNS if they intimidate) to protect the animal lovers and feeders.

As long as you keep the feeding area neat and tidy, they shouldn’t be a problem.

UIt is not illegal to feed animals. This was a tactic to bully your aunt. Since the faces of the ‘policemen’ have been captured, you can file a complaint.
But honestly, if it is possible to be lowkey while feeding (like late at night or early morning), no one will know and there wont be any dispute.

VInstall CCTV cameras.
Next time they come dial 112 and call for assistance and get it recorded in official records.
Also male police officers cannot touch females or even question a female without the presence of a female police officer.They can’t question women after sunset.
They have to give a notice and call the women to the police station even after FIR is lodged.
Coming directly to your house was illegal.
If you go on to file a complaint the police officer will be in deep trouble.
Also get a medical prescription prepared of the injuries you got. -

Off topic and probably I will get downvoted for this.
You said you are physically weak and have an eating disorder.. psychologically, that puts you in the victim’s shoes whenever there is a conflict. Fix your disorder and gain weight.. in india and many countries, people take advantage of the physically weak. If it’s fixable, fix it. -

UGo to govt hospital OPD. Show your bruises. Take medicine like painkillers. Then written complaint (attach prescription from govt hospital. Prescription must have date) to State Women Commision, ACP, DCP, Jt Commisioner (Crawford Market), DG office.
The same police will come and with folded hand would request you to take back the complaint.

UGo to the nearest police station. Give it in writing that some people barged into your home impersonating police officers. Did not have the name tag and threatened you of death. Get a receiving of the complaint. If you have a CCTV give the footage with the complaint in a pen drive.
You are done then. Let the IO see who they were and what needs to be done. If they actually were off duty cops he’ll know how to handle it.
Always be afraid, it’s life. But never be afraid and show weakness when you are threatened. Stay strong
