Police noted down my vehicle number, contact and address

I was going out with my friend at 12:00 AM in Chennai. Police stopped me and asked me for RC. Since it is a new vehicle, RC is not yet delivered. He noted my details in a ledger. Will they misuse my details? Or will it cause any issue in future background verification? I am overthinking and worried that they might book false case on me😅

It is registered. I have permanent number plate. Just I am waiting for the rc book. It will be delivered in post.

It was check point bordering state highways and they are keeping records of vehicles in the night time for security purposes
